On January 16th, 2012, I made it a goal to stop being a skinny guy (clocking in at a whopping 145 lbs. at 5'11''), and finally do something I've always dreamed of: Get huge! After a year of work, I made it to 197lbs, and a much greater understanding of lifting, food, nutrition, and an overall sense of how the human body actually works. It's a new passion in my life, and this Power Hour is a way to share it with you, helping you if you choose to do the same!
In this 1.5 hour long Power Hour special, I walk you step-by-step through my diet, my exercise routine, my supplements, and answer various fitness questions sent in by friends, family, and fans. How did I get my size in a relatively short amount of time? What supplements do I recommend? What's the best workout structure for a total beginner? What should my diet consist of if I want to gain weight? Lose weight? What are the differences in protein sources? What are my thoughts on testosterone boosters, steroids, or other performance-enhancing drugs?
Fitness is definitely a personal journey, but I hope you enjoy my experiences of learning, and maybe you can use something that may aid you in your journey to become a better you! Have any questions? Want to share your own fitness stories? Hit me up on Facebook or Twitter, or of course, leave some comments and questions on this article, and I'll be more than happy to help!
It's time to get swole! Power Up!
