I don't want to set the world on fire
May 11, 2010 at 11:24 AM
It would appear that Fallout music composer Mark Morgan has released a set of 24 remastered tracks from Fallout 1 & 2 under the title "Vault Archives." Yeah this is pretty delectable. It's like Mark just sent me free Nando's for my ears. (RockPaperShotgun.com)
My suggestion is to toss these digital music files onto your portable music player of choice, then go for a nighttime walk or run sometime soon.

YESSSSSSS.
I grabbed this yesterday as soon as I ran across it on NMA, and the quality is stellar. A lot of the tracks are really enhanced by all the additional textures that are now audible -- I'm really digging the Hub and World Map themes.
Really makes me want to fire up 1 & 2 for another playthrough!
Oh, what a surprise. Bethesda had them take it down already.
Oh gadammit
Damn, anyone seeding this badboy? I'd love to give it a listen.
Well, according to the comments over at Aural Network (the original host), they're trying to cooperate with Bethesda for a rerelease at some point. No idea when that will happen, though.
In the meantime, it's been permanently mirrored at NMA. Use the link below and hit the "download" button.
